What Does Accreditation Mean?

Accreditation is a term used for the validation processes used to decide how well an education institute is performing. This includes traditional and online colleges and universities. A review board, consisting of various accredited school faculty members, is responsible for setting the levels of standards applied to the accreditation process.

For a college to gain accreditation they must first meet the requirements set out by the review board and prove that they are capable of providing an excellent education environment coupled with the ability to achieve a high percentage of passing grades.
