Tuition reimbursement programs are offered by certain employers to help pay for their employees tuition fees. Each program will have its own specific terms the employee has to keep to in regards to their continuing education. Some of the tuition reimbursement programs available are only honored if the employee/student achieves the grades set out in the contract and most of the time employees have to study a subject that is relevant to the employment sector they work within. Deloitte

GSAP, or the Graduate School Assistance Program is Deloitte’s tuition reimbursement program. The company’s aim in offering this program is to help their best performing employees to get into the best business schools and enroll on a course that will help develop their business analysis skills. To be eligible for the GSAP employees must have worked within the company for at least two years. The program is divided into about eight elements, from helping employees to complete the application process, to networking with alumni for guidance.

UPS

Employees of UPS who are thinking of going to college to further their career within the UPS company may be eligible to join the company’s TAP, which stands for Tuition Assistance Program. UPS handed out $24 million in tuition fees to about 14,000 students in 2010 and have been offering the program since 1999. Individuals may be eligible if they are a; part-time union employee, part-time management employee, or a full-time non-union employee.

JP Morgan Chase

JP Morgan Chase offers a tuition reimbursement program only to their top performing employees . The educational program the employee chooses must be related to the kind of work they do within the company, or a position they hope to be able to fulfil in the future. Lockheed Martin

Some employees of Lockheed Martin may be able to take advantage of their tuition reimbursement program. McAfee

Eligible applicants for their tuition reimbursement program will be employed on a full-time basis and could get up to $10,000 towards the cost of tuition for an educational program that relates to their job position. Starbucks

Full-time employees may be eligible for up to $2,500 per year to help cover tuition fees for education programs that are centered around the employees job position. Successful applicants for their tuition reimbursement program will have to work at least 40 hours per week and should have been working at Home Depot for a year.
